Mubaje mourns Raisi as Iran kicks-off 4-day funeral processions

The Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Shaban Ramathan Mubaje has sent a message of condolence to the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hussein Khamenei, following the tragic death of the country’s President, Ebrahim Raisi in a copter crash on May 19.

The participants shouted slogans to pledge allegiance to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who is expected to lead funeral prayers for Raisi, Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, Tabriz Friday prayer leader, Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem and the governor of East Azerbaijan province Malek Rahmati along with Raisi’s bodyguard, pilots and two crew members of the ill-fated helicopter.
