Pilgrims of faith: Taqaddum journalists experience Umrah

Members of the Muslim Journalists Taqaddum Sacco Ltd joined devoted pilgrims in the sacred land of Makkah, Saudi Arabia, having completed the revered rites of Umrah. They were part of the 180 pilgrims who traveled with Makkah-Madinah Hajj Services for the January 2025 Umrah.
“It’s an overwhelming experience; I feel uplifted. This place is truly filled with Baraka (blessings),” reflected Husni Bujaasi, one of the pilgrims.
The main rituals concluded on Monday at Masjid al-Haram. The group also explored historical sites, including the plain of Arafah, Jabal al-Rahmah (Mount of Mercy), Mina, and Muzdalifah, significant locations for the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
Next, the pilgrims will travel to Madinah for prayer sessions at Masjid al-Nabawi and visit historical sites like Uhud and Badr, pivotal in Islamic history.
